Its story

Appearance

Armarouge is a humanoid Pokémon. Its body is black, with red legs and hands, a red head topped by a flame, and old yellow-and-red armor with floating pauldrons.

Lifestyle

It evolves from Charcadet. A great warrior's armor is the source of its psychic power; loyal, it defends first, then fires a cannon made from its pauldrons.

In the anime

Liko's Charcadet evolves into Armarouge while wearing Auspicious Armor. Later, it Terastallizes into a Fire type for the first time.

Name origin

Armarouge may combine arma or armadura, words for weapon or armor, with rouge, French for red. It suggests a possessed suit of armor and European knights.
