The grudge stays locked in the zipper; it curses others with pins and roams dumps, seeking who threw it away. It evolves from Shuppet and can Mega Evolve.
In the anime
Nicknamed Bay-Bay, it searched for the girl who once played with it, found her grown into Nurse Joy, and became her assistant.
Name origin
The design echoes a haunted doll, the tsukumogami, and a voodoo doll. Banette may blend bane with marionette.
