Its story

Appearance

A light blue sea lion with three ruffles, white and pale blue, around its body. Long three-part ears and much longer front flippers.

Lifestyle

A diligent dancer, it makes colored water balloons while dancing, then bursts them on the foe. It evolves from Popplio into Primarina and cheers up a sad Trainer.

In the anime

Lana's Popplio became Brionne after training inspired by Ida and her Primarina.

Name origin

Based on a sea lion, idols, ballerinas, and circus clowns. Brionne blends brio, sea lion, brine, and ondine.

Only people it trusts can see it sad; otherwise it always acts cheerful.
It can dance in perfect time with partners it has never danced with.
On calm moonlit nights, large groups dance, sometimes led by a Primarina's singing.
