Its story
Lifestyle
The bulb hides two vines and gives it energy. Rare in Kanto grasslands, it evolves into Ivysaur, then Venusaur.
In the anime
Ash's Bulbasaur comes from the Hidden Village. It stays with him a long time, then leaves for Professor Oak's lab.
Name origin
Atsuko Nishida designed it from Venusaur. It looks like a horned frog. The name joins bulb and dinosaur.
