Lifestyle
Its huge claw throws off its balance, so it moves by firing compressed water with internal gas. It evolves into Clawitzer.
In the anime
Ash and Misty hook the same Clauncher. Misty wins their battle and Clauncher joins her team.
Name origin
It is based on a pistol shrimp, and its blue may echo Procambarus alleni or a color-changed lobster. Clauncher blends claw and launcher.
