Its story

Appearance

Dreepy is a small green Pokémon like a reptile or amphibian. Its darker head has yellow eyes, pink eyelids and gills, and large horns tipped with pink.

Lifestyle

A ghost of an ancient-sea species, it is so weak a child could defeat it alone. With friends to train it, it evolves into Drakloak, then Dragapult.

In the anime

In the series, a Dreepy attached to a Drakloak is picked up by Ash. The Drakloak panics, then calms down with help from Gengar.

Name origin

The design blends an undead prehistoric amphibian, the Diplocaulus, with a dart or missile. Dreepy may combine dragon or dreary with creepy.

Did you know?

Its Ghost-Dragon pairing is the only duo weak to both of its own types, like Giratina.
It has the lowest base HP and Defense of all Dragon-type Pokémon.
Dragapult launches it at Mach speeds, which Dreepy enjoys.
