Lifestyle
Its flexible bubbles soften blows. Light and strong, it leaps very high and overwhelms foes. It evolves into Frogadier, then Greninja.
In the anime
It helps Ash calm a Garchomp, follows him, and becomes his first catch in Kalos. It later evolves into Frogadier.
Name origin
Froakie may blend frog, froth, croak, and rookie. The foam echoes bubble nests, dorobō thieves, and the ninja.
