Its story

Appearance

Gallade is a white bipedal knight with a slim green torso crossed by a red plate. Its head suggests a gladiator's helmet, and its arms look like tonfas with very sharp blades.

Lifestyle

Protective, it lives in the mountains, reads a foe's intentions, and strikes first. Only male Kirlia become Gallade; as Mega Gallade, it fights with two blades.

In the anime

At the Sinnoh Grand Festival, Zoey's Gallade, with Glameow, helps Zoey win the final against Dawn.

Name origin

The design blends a warrior elf, Roman gladiator, Greek hoplite, and medieval knight. Gallade may combine gallant and blade.
