Its story

Appearance

Glaceon is a pale blue quadruped with long pointed ears and a small nose. A teal crest with two dangling flaps frames its head, and two dark blue diamonds mark its back.

Lifestyle

By freezing its fur very quickly, it fires ice needles to defend itself, hunt, or sleep safely. It evolves from Eevee, and the cold it gives off makes powdery snow that ski resorts like.

In the anime

May's Eevee, already a Glaceon, battled Dawn's Piplup at the Wallace Cup. Virgil's Glaceon defeated a Reuniclus at the Vertress Conference.

Name origin

Atsuko Nishida's design suggests an arctic fox and an ushanka. Glaceon blends glacier, or French glace, with -eon, and is an anagram of congeal.
