Its story
Lifestyle
It compresses water into weapons, especially throwing stars that split metal, and evolves from Frogadier. Two forms exist: Ash-Greninja and Mega Greninja.
In the anime
Ash's Frogadier evolves into Greninja against Heidayu's Bisharp, and Ash later releases it to keep protecting Kalos.
Name origin
The line is based on a frog and was designed like a creature from a European role-playing game. Greninja may blend grenouille with ninja.
