Appearance
Koraidon is a large reptile covered in scarlet feathers, with white on its cheeks, body, thighs, and tail. A tire-like throat sac inflates or deflates with its form.

Lifestyle
It resembles Cyclizar, yet far more ferocious. In Area Zero it is wary but curious, and sometimes plays. In harsh sunlight it unfurls its wings and crashes forward.
In the anime
In HZ148, Roy finds a Koraidon: they join a Cyclizar race, then it flies off just before the finish.
Name origin
Off-road motorcycle parts shape it, along with fan-throated lizards and feathered dinosaurs. The English name may blend korai, “ancient,” -don, and ride on.
