Its story
Lifestyle
Fighting for territory, it smashes into rivals and rock. It nests in the mountains, drinks spring water, and eats iron in stone. It evolves from Aron into Aggron.
In the anime
Savannah's Lairon defeats May's Bulbasaur at the Rubello Contest, then loses to Drew's Masquerain.
Name origin
It recalls the Bulgasari, a Korean iron-eating monster, Triassic Placerias, and plate armor. Lairon may combine lairy, slang for aggressive, or lair, with iron.
