Its story

Appearance

Lokix is a dark-gray bipedal insect built like a locust. A mask covers its face, a white belt bears an X, and orange spikes jut from its limbs.

Lifestyle

Its third pair of legs stays folded on its back. Unfolded, Showdown Mode lets it jump and strike fast, but the strain soon exhausts it. It evolves from Nymble.

In the anime

It first appears alongside Katy. Later, Katy and Liko lose a tag battle: Floragato and Lokix fall to Rika's Dugtrio and Clodsire.

Name origin

The design mixes locusts, hard-kicking wētā, and Kamen Rider: a belt, a time limit, and a finishing kick. Lokix may blend locust with kicks.

It lives in Paldea's grasslands, snowy mountains, deserts, or lakes.
Its Dark type echoes locusts' pest image; southern Iberia alone in Europe faced their plagues.
