Lifestyle
It keeps electrically roasted Berry seeds and treats them like treasures. Lasting hunger makes it violent and shifts its cheek energy from Electric to Dark.
In the anime
It steals Team Rocket's food in Galar, sends them blasting off, then lives in their base until James catches it. Another, well fed, belongs to Marnie.
Name origin
Morpeko may combine morumotto, “guinea pig,” and hara peko, “hungry.” It echoes that rodent, the hamster, and the two sides of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
