Appearance
Qwilfish is a round sea Pokémon covered in sharp spikes, with a flat, paddle-shaped tail. Its upper half is dark teal and its lower half light greenish-yellow.

Its story
Lifestyle
To attack, it drinks over ten litres of water and shoots poisonous quills. The Hisuian form evolves into Overqwil; the Johtonian form cannot evolve.
In the anime
In the series, Harrison sends a Qwilfish against Misty and her Corsola at the Whirl Cup, where it is quickly beaten.
Name origin
It is based on the pufferfish or porcupinefish, which inflate and are covered in spines. Qwilfish may come from quill and fish.
