Appearance
Regirock is a massive golem of beige and orange rock. Seven orange dots on its face form a capital H. Its long arms end in fingerless clubs, and rocky spines run down its back.

Its story
Lifestyle
Legend says Regigigas built it from rocks. People worshipped it, then sealed it in ruins out of fear. Hurt, it patches itself with new stones. Study found only rock: no heart or brain.
In the anime
In Lucario and the Mystery of Mew, it guards the Tree of Beginning and attacks Ash first. Brandon's Regirock later beats Sceptile while Ash is possessed by the King of Pokélantis.
Name origin
Its design echoes Hebrew golems, servants marked by writing that can weaken or kill them if removed. The seven dots recall Braille. The name may join Latin regis, "royal," and rock.
