Its story
Lifestyle
Runerigus evolves from Galarian Yamask: a curse absorbs its spirit and brings the painting to life. Anyone who touches the shadowy body receives the memories of its creation.
In the anime
It debuts under Sterling and falls to Blastoise and Cinderace. Six Runerigus later side with Rubina, then fall to Hamber's Dusknoir and Ursaluna.
Name origin
Its image recalls Viking runestones, often carved with serpents. Runerigus may blend rune with egregious, or else with Cofagrigus.

- The tail fragment resembles the piece carried by Galarian Yamask.
- Some runestones threatened death or exile for anyone who damaged or moved them.
