Its story
Lifestyle
It fastens itself to branches with a frigid thread, sleeps as an icicle, and eats snow so its back spikes grow; if startled, it burrows into the snow. It evolves into Frosmoth.
In the anime
In the animated series, a Snom appears in episode HZ149, alongside Yakata.
Name origin
It calls to mind a jewel caterpillar, and perhaps alpine or Arctic larvae of the genus Gynaephora. Snom may blend snow, worm, and nom, slang for eating.
