Lifestyle
It feeds on snow and ice and can endure temperatures as low as −150 degrees Fahrenheit. Social, it travels in groups of five and evolves into Glalie or, if female, Froslass.

Ash's Snorunt steals his Badges, earns his trust, joins his team, and then becomes Glalie.
Name origin
It recalls yukinko, childlike snow spirits in a conical cloak, and zashiki-warashi that bring fortune. Snorunt blends snow and runt.
