In the anime
Mallow's Bounsweet became Steenee after a battle with Team Rocket. It evolved into Tsareena right after learning Stomp.
Name origin
Steenee is based on a mangosteen and a young girl. Its name blends mangosteen with teeny or teenager, and maybe stevia.
