Lifestyle
A male-only species, it trains in packs of five and always tries to throw opponents larger than itself.

At the Clubsplosion, Montgomery's Throh beats several Pokémon before losing to Stephan's Sawk. James later sends one out against Lucario and Cinderace.
Name origin
Ken Sugimori designed it from an unused concept, as a judoka. Throh comes from throw.

- Its vine belt grows darker as it soaks up sweat.
