In Incarnate Forme, Thundurus is a blue, muscular genie, and the species is male only. A purple horn, jagged white hair, and a tail through seven balls mark it.

Its story
Lifestyle
It lives in the sky above the oceans and has rivaled Tornadus since the beginning of time. Its lightning starts forest fires, but also enriches the soil.
In the anime
On Milos Island it appears after Team Rocket destroys its shrine. It fights Tornadus, then both turn on Landorus, who came to separate them.
Name origin
It is based on Raijin, kami of thunder, and its Incarnate Forme may echo Notus, the south wind. Thundurus may come from thunderous and Aeolus, ruler of the winds.

- Therian Forme, perhaps its true one, resembles a dragon and appears only through the Reveal Glass.
- In Therian Forme, thunderbolts from its tail can annihilate a foe.
