Appearance
Veluza is a gray fishlike Pokémon with red eyes, a toothy open mouth, and pointed translucent magenta fins. Thin blue lines run along its body, and diamond-shaped spikes stick out from its sides.

Its story
Lifestyle
To hunt, it sheds some of its own flesh, becoming more agile and psychically powerful, then regrows what it lost. That discarded flesh tastes mild and delicious.
Name origin
Its look is drawn from hakes, especially the Merlucciidae family. Veluza may combine veloz, Spanish and Portuguese for fast, with merluza, hake.
