Its story

Appearance

Vikavolt is a beetle with a blue helmet, an orange face, and robotic yellow eyes. Its huge spiked mandibles are blue inside and yellow outside, over a black body and transparent wings.

Lifestyle

It fires powerful beams with its jaws and uses a Charjabug as a spare battery, releasing it in flight to stay light. An excellent flier, it evolves from Charjabug.

In the anime

Sophocles's Charjabug became Vikavolt in a canyon. Horacio's Shiny Vikavolt, evolved in the same place, lost the race to Sophocles and others.

Name origin

Vikavolt may come from Vic Viper, a Gradius starfighter, and volt. It is based on a stag beetle and a railgun.
