Wobbuffet is tall, cyan, and soft, with usually scrunched eyes and flat arms. Its black tail has two blinking eyespots; the female has a red lipstick-like mark.

Its story
Lifestyle
Docile, it evolves from Wynaut, never strikes first, and inflates to hit back. It hates light, lives in caves, and guards its tail.
In the anime
Jessie receives it by mistake, trading away her Lickitung. It often shouts its name on release, and is the only one of her Pokémon to follow her for long.
Name origin
Hironobu Yoshida designed it as a punching bag that only returns what it receives. Wobbuffet joins wobble and buffet.
Did you know?
