Its story
Lifestyle
It lives along coasts, hides when a human spots it, and, very aggressive, wraps its three bodies around prey to drag them to its lair. It evolves from Wiglett.
In the anime
Zirc's ticket sticks to one of its heads, so Zirc, Liko, Roy, and Onia battle it to get the ticket back.
Name origin
It is based mainly on garden eels, and dragging prey into its den recalls the moray eel. Wugtrio blends Wiglett, water or wug, and Dugtrio.
Did you know?
- First thought to be a regional form of Dugtrio, that idea was later disproven.
- Simple anatomy, no fins, and a strong sense of smell recall the hagfish.
- Looking like Dugtrio points to convergent or parallel evolution.
