Appearance

Its story
Lifestyle
Beating its wings creates shock waves strong enough to knock down huge trees. Rare and very aggressive, it lives in woods and swamps, and it evolves from Yanma.
In the anime
Jessie's female, caught as a Yanma, evolved while battling Ash, then entered Contests. Later, several Yanmega served Florges.
Name origin
Like Yanma, it is based on a giant prehistoric dragonfly, Meganeura. Yanmega joins yanma, “large dragonfly,” with the prefix mega.
