Its story

Appearance

Abomasnow is a large biped with shaggy white fur. Its eyes are pale purple, its hands and feet are dark green like evergreen foliage, and four green pinecone-like buds sit on its back.

Lifestyle

It appears in snowy mountains only while snow flowers bloom, then hides alone by raising blizzards. It evolves from Snover and protects them from packs of Galarian Darumaka.

In the anime

It first quarrels with a Froslass until they smash ice statues. Candice's female, the species' series debut, knocks out Ash's Staraptor and Grotle, then loses to Chimchar.

Name origin

Its design crosses a snow-laden evergreen with a yeti, and it recalls juhyou, trees coated in snow and nicknamed snow monsters. The name Abomasnow may come from Abominable Snowman.
