Appearance
Weavile is a pale gray biped, between a cat and a weasel, dressed in red feathers. Three claws arm each paw, four fangs jut from the jaw, and a yellow gem sits on its forehead.

Its story
Lifestyle
A cunning predator of snowy lands, it evolves from Sneasel and hunts in groups of four or five, led by one leader. Its sword-like claws can bring on frostbite.
In the anime
Two Weavile serve Kidd Summers: one loses to Ash's Pikachu, then they try to plant a tracker on Mew. In the Lumiose Conference final, Alain's beats Noivern, then falls to Hawlucha.
Name origin
It recalls the kamaitachi, a weasel yōkai with sickles, and the dress of ancient Egyptian deities. The name Weavile may blend weasel, weave, evil, and vile.
