Appearance
Absol is a white and dark-blue quadruped with an almost human face and red eyes. A scythe-like horn grows from the side of its head, and its tail has the same outline.

Its story
Lifestyle
It lives in the mountains, and its horn senses coming disasters, so people often blame it unfairly. It has two Mega Evolutions and dislikes fighting as Mega Absol.
In the anime
In a film, it takes Jirachi back to Forina and is not evil, contrary to what Ash first believes. A town blames it unfairly; it was warning them of a flood.
Name origin
Its look suggests the Bai Ze, a white beast of Chinese mythology. Its name may join the Latin ab-, "to take away," and sol, "sun," like an eclipse.
