Lifestyle
It controls ice: flapping its wings chills the air and makes snow fall. It flies from icy peak to icy peak and, by legend, appears before lost, doomed travelers.

Noland befriended a wild Articuno. Against Ash, Articuno fought Charizard, then lost.
Name origin
Articuno may come from arctic and uno, Spanish for one, as the first of the legendary bird trio.
