Its story
Lifestyle
People often take it for a plant, yet its body is closer to stone. It cries to shed extra water, likes dry ground, and evolves into Sudowoodo.

Brock takes in a baby Bonsly that is needy and easily stressed, and later sees it evolve.
Name origin
It blends a potted bonsai with petrified wood, a fossil whose living matter became minerals. Bonsly may combine bonsai with sly or lie.
