Appearance
Burmy is a small black segmented larva with a coiled antenna, a beak-like mouth, and yellow eyes. Without a cloak, its stubby legs and two white spots on its cheeks show.

Lifestyle
It wears a cloak of plants, sand, or trash that keeps out the cold. A female becomes Wormadam, a male Mothim; that cloak sets Wormadam's form.
In the anime
Cheryl catches a male Burmy lured by Honey. After battles with Team Rocket, he evolves into Mothim.
Name origin
It is based on a bag-moth caterpillar, which builds a mobile shelter. Burmy may blend bug, worm, bagworm, and tiny.
