It rarely moves by day, which helps it keep its moisture. At night it hunts or follows travelers until they are exhausted. It evolves from Cacnea.

It first appears in the animated series as Harley's signature Pokémon.
Name origin
It mixes a cactus and a scarecrow, and its face suggests a Halloween jack-o'-lantern. Cacturne may join cactus and nocturne.
