Lifestyle
Two unattached orbs fire beams, and it moves by telekinesis. When wet its body melts; it lives in rough terrain and evolves from Baltoy.

In the Hoenn Grand Festival final, Robert's Claydol and Milotic beat Drew's Flygon and Masquerain, making Robert Top Coordinator.
Name origin
It may be based on the shakōki-dogū, a “spaceman” clay figurine from Japan's Jōmon period. Claydol may blend clay with idol or doll.
