Its story

Appearance

A coal-black bulk on two legs, with stubby arms and two huge shoulder spikes, the left one much longer. White eyes can glow red, serrated teeth, and heated coal on its back.

Lifestyle

Peaceful, it grows enraged if its mines are vandalized and incinerates invaders at 2,700 degrees Fahrenheit. It evolves from Carkol and is Rolycoly's final form. Like Torkoal, it is the Coal Pokémon.

In the anime

In the series, Dynamax energy turned it Gigantamax and sent it on a rampage until Ash and Leon defeated it.

Name origin

The design mixes a dinosaur or kaiju with a pile of coal, perhaps from the false idea that fossil fuels come from dinosaurs. Coalossal may combine coal and colossal.
