Appearance
Cranidos is a gray, dinosaur-like Pokémon. A hard blue dome with four rear spikes, a hooked beak, and red eyes mark its skull. Short arms and feet end in claws.

Its story
Lifestyle
A hundred million years ago it charged headfirst through jungles, snapping trees and felling prey. Revived from a Skull Fossil, it evolves into Rampardos.
In the anime
With Roark, it debuts on screen, then evolves into Rampardos after Meowth's net traps it during a Team Rocket attack.
Name origin
It is modeled on the pachycephalosaurus, a dinosaur thought to headbutt with its thick skull. Cranidos may blend cranium and dinosaur.
