Its story
Lifestyle
Its inner flame makes it uncontrollable, then it falls asleep. It evolves into Darmanitan. In Galar, the colder it gets, the more energetic it becomes.
In the anime
Two Darumaka steal food for a Darmanitan stuck in Zen Mode, which holds up a clock tower with its psychic power.
Name origin
At rest it recalls a Daruma doll that will not fall, burned in a ceremony. Darumaka joins Daruma with makka (“crimson”) or macaque. In Galar it mixes a snowman and a yeti.

- At rest it tucks in its arms and legs; its inner temperature is about 1,100 °F.
- A luck symbol, its very hot droppings were once slipped into clothing to stay warm.
