Its story
Lifestyle
It digs shallow tunnels, eats roots and vegetables, and leaves tilled soil behind. Sunlight heats its blood and weakens it. It evolves into Dugtrio.
In the anime
Several Diglett disrupt work on a dam, but the other Pokémon refuse to fight them because they help plant trees.
Name origin
Diglett may come from to dig and lett, a suffix meaning “small.” Japanese Digda joins to dig and the game Dig Dug.
