Its story
Lifestyle
It lives alone in the mountains and comes down each dawn for Berries. Gentle with children, it protects them; as Mega Drampa, its youth returns and it summons storms.
In the anime
In Sun & Moon, nicknamed Grandpa Forest, it once saved young Lana and Mallow after a fall from a cliff. It meets them again later and also helps Harper and Sarah.
Name origin
Hitoshi Ariga designed it after a Chinese dragon with an old man's face. Drampa may blend dragon and grampa, echoing grandparents.
