Lifestyle
The more souls it gathers, the larger it grows. So light it is easily pulled, it grabs children's hands, drifts at night in damp places, and evolves into Drifblim.
In the anime
The species debuts when Marnie and Paige use Drifloon for transport. Fantina's Drifloon later evolves into Drifblim while battling Ash's Pikachu.
Name origin
It is based on a balloon, with a bandage-like X and heart-shaped hands like string weights. Drifloon combines drift and balloon.
