Its story
Lifestyle
It leaps from tree to tree, shucks nuts with its tails, and lives in colonies in thick woods. It evolves from Aipom and wraps people to show affection.
In the anime
Dawn's Aipom, formerly Ash's, evolves into Ambipom. She matures, shines in Dawn's Contests, then Dawn gives her to O for ping-pong training.
Name origin
The design draws on a New World monkey and an exaggerated prehensile tail. Ambipom may blend ambidextrous, Aipom, and palm.
