Its story
Lifestyle
It lives in grasslands and savannas. The charge in its fur makes it run faster than the eye can follow, and it evolves into Manectric.
In the anime
After losing easily to Ash, Wattson went off alone. An Electrike comforted him; Wattson kept it, and that Pokémon later became a Manectric.
Name origin
Electrike may blend electric and lightning strike, perhaps with tyke. It resembles a canine pup and the yōkai Raijū, a lightning spirit often shaped like a wolf.
