Its story

Appearance

A knight's helmet with a red crest and red-striped lance arms. Its lower body hides in a gray spiral shell, thought to be a Shelmet's.

Lifestyle

It evolves from Karrablast. Its armor shields it as it flies fast and jabs foes, brave even when in trouble.

In the anime

Bianca receives an Escavalier that refuses to obey her. She earns its trust in battle alongside Professor Juniper.

Name origin

Tomohiro Kitakaze drew on snail-hunting beetles and a jousting knight. Escavalier may blend escargot and cavalier, and pun on Excalibur.
