Appearance
Fearow is a large, mostly brown bird with a long vulture-like neck and broad, powerful wings. Pointed pink beak, red crest, shaggy cream neck feathers, and sharp pink talons.

Its story
Lifestyle
It can fly a full day without landing. Neck and beak pluck prey from land or water. It evolves from Spearow and lives in warm wastelands.
In the anime
The Spearow from the first episode returns to Pallet Town as a Fearow. Ash's Pidgeotto had to evolve into Pidgeot to defeat it, and Ash failed to catch it.
Name origin
Fearow blends fear and sparrow. It draws on vultures and condors, with a rooster's crest and the long neck of a heron or cormorant.
