Its story
Lifestyle
Poor at flying far, it is still quick to defend its territory, but must flap constantly. It hunts insects in warm wastelands and evolves into Fearow.
In the anime
In the first episode, a flock attacks Ash after he throws a rock at one bird, mistaking it for a Pidgey, because Pikachu refused to battle.
Name origin
Spearow combines spear and sparrow. The bird mixes a sparrow with a shrike, from the hooked beak to the territorial temper.
