It intimidates by opening its jaws wide. Mega Evolution forms a dark-red hood, the "Totodile mask," whose false jaw bites ten times harder.

Name origin
The yellow belly mark echoes young alligators, and the crest a mohawk. Feraligatr blends feral or ferocious with alligator.
