Lifestyle
Its barbed fangs let go only when they fall out, then grow back fast. Rarely found near water, it evolves from Totodile into Feraligatr.
In the anime
It debuts as Marina's Wani-Wani, received as a Totodile from Professor Elm, and later becomes a Feraligatr.
Name origin
Croconaw may blend crocodile and gnaw, or maw or jaw. Its look mixes a crocodile, a theropod dinosaur, and a prehistoric hunter.
