Its story
Lifestyle
Right after birth it finds a flower it likes and cares for it for life. It draws hidden power and healing pollen from flowers, then evolves into Floette and later Florges.
In the anime
Mairin nicknames her Yellow Flower Flabébé Bébé. In Shalour City, Goh catches a blue, a yellow, a red, and an orange one, then the white one, before they all evolve.
Name origin
Flabébé suggests fairies and nymphs, especially Antheia for its crown, possibly Chloris, and insect pollination. The name may combine flower and bébé, French for baby.

- If a petal falls off, it can no longer float properly.
- Professor Oak and Gurkinn call the white flower particularly rare.
