It deflates its sac to dive and inflates it to surface, even in stormy seas. It hunts, carries people like a raft, and lives near fishers. It evolves from Buizel.
In the anime
Crasher Wake's male fights Ash in a Gym battle. After a hard fight with Pikachu, it narrowly loses to Buizel.
Name origin
It mixes a weasel and a sea otter with inflatable armbands, a life jacket, and a raft. Floatzel may blend float, and flotsam, with weasel.
